It leaves you wanting more in both good and bad ways.

Make no mistake, this is a romance short story not a philosophical argument or any such high brow nonsense. For what it is, it is quite good.

The problem though, as with some short stories, is it lacks the real estate to fully develop characters and situations. The best it can do is give you a taste of what could have been. This book does that in a way that I really wanted to know more about the people involved. I wanted the story to have more room to breathe because some parts felt so rushed in spite of how good those little parts were.

I cannot say that this was a perfect book, but I can say that it has the promise of being great. If the author were to take this up again and expand it a bit, this book would be awesome at any price. It has the "scenes", you see. It has the scenes that would make an awesome book. It's just frustrating that they're connected to each other with undersized underdeveloped links.

4 stars. Actually I would have given it a 3 but I don't want to deprive people of reading this book by lowering it's rating. Read it for it's potential.
