David Noebel of Summit Ministries describes worldview as referring “to any ideology, theology, movement, or religion that provides an overarching approach to understanding God, the world, and man’s relations to God and the world.” Recognizing that many Christians have failed to develop a sound understanding of the world, this issue of Areopagus Journal provides a number of articles that aim to promote a consistent Biblical view of the world in which we live. The articles deal with a number of topics including those addressing the nature of the church, the essence of a worldview, the idea of covenantal society, and the nature of human rights.
