I worked on all most all the drill lines Bucyrus built from 1952 until the time I gave it up. It included Electrical apprentice work when I started, building the Spudders, 42-T and 50-T, and all the others in between, to the latest 49-R and 59-R models. Also, the very first rotary, the 50-R.
Towards the end of my work days, I put some of these machines together in the field at some of the largest mines in the US and a couple forgien countries. The book covered all the drills that I know of and alot of others that were before my time. Dave Lang put together a good cross section of machines and the stories that went along, were very interesting. I gave several copies to my friends who were in the well drilling busness and they enjoyed them very much. Some of the pictures are one of a kind and very interesting to drill people
