A great book with simple 'trick' and ideas to improve your brain's memory and cognitive thinking. I found this book to be easy to read and effective for strengthening your brain.

The introduction explains a bit about the brain though it mainly focuses on how to use the book. It shares a few ideas and really sets things up for doing brain improvement work. There are explanations of how lifestyle can effect your brain and changes you can make to improve things.

A section on memory lays down the foundation for improvement. There are educational points that explain how we used to think the brain worked and how we know so much more now. Things that negatively affect your brain are explained. This includes things like fatigue, nutrition and hormones.

A section deals with things that should be avoided to help improve your brain. Things like fatigue, nutrition and other things can impede your progress in strengthening your brain. Things that improve your memory are explained

After the foundation is laid the fun begins. There are ideas for what you can do to improve your memory that are not difficult. A section on memory tricks can help in building your memory and brain power.Things you can practice on a daily basis are laid out to help you stay on the right track.

The book finishes up with tactics for boosting your brain power and a conclusion to wrap things up. I found this book to be well organized and easy to use. I have been practicing things in this book for about two weeks and I find myself reaching for a piece of paper and pen less frequently as I take advantage of the tricks in this book. a great find that I highly recommend.

An insightful book into the power of the brain and how to boost your memory so you can live more on purpose, regardless of your age or mental capabilities. This book breaks everything down into what constitutes memory loss, why it happens and the new ways of thinking surrounding brain power.

It touches on exercise, rest, nutrition, reducing stress, sleep tips and techniques to keep your memory sharp. I will certainly be recommending this to all of my friends and family, particularly my elder generation of relatives.

I love this entire book, especially the section on Chunking and Imagery, which I practiced immediately and will put into my daily routines from now on. Even though "Boost Your Brain..." was a long book,I never tired of reading and studying the practices and techniques herein. Everyone above the age of 40 should definitely read this book. Some people below 40 years old will benefit from the book too. If you think you don't need the book, buy it for a friend or relative. A copy should be in every household.

Wow what a great and interesting read. I am not that old but admit I do suffer with my memory and loved the notion of improving my brain power. The tips and tricks are so interesting and I know for a fact I will definitely use them. The tip about moving your ring or watch as a reminder is excellent!!

I love the rosemary sprig idea too. This is a great read for anyone looking to boost their memory and brain.
