This book helps you finalize physically, how the drawings, theory and constructions of MC Escher can come alive.
As I have loved his works through my life, I didn't have the mathematical orientation to bring to life the
constructions brought to you in these printed pages. The book supplies the precut printed iterations of the artist and illustrates how they can be assembled into beautiful little "works of art". They demonstrate not any particular
items Escher constructed, but how his art can seamlessly cover a isometric object. I believe anyone curious about how
his surface plane coverings work will enjoy this book. I believe this is a could be the fulmination to building and companion to the publication of Doris Schattschneider and Wallace Walker's, M.C. Escher Kaleidocycles. This short
publication of 57 pages more describes, how the artists repetitive art is applied on geometric solids ,not his own but, the authors and how they have applied them to various forms called Kaleidocycles.I'm sure any fan of Escher will
appreciate these two pamplets on this artist. One last referral on this subject, I have purchased a program by a company, Pedagoguery, that produces a software program, TESS. This program will help a person generate his own artwork in the Escher style by producing a tiled graphic file, that when printed could be used to cover particular geometric solids. I find this program a God send to me in producing artistic output for this particular purpose.
I recommend all of these three items for the mathematically and artistic gifted or challenged and lovers of
MC Escher.
