A little off what I expected

Straight up, I was excited when I found out a new bettie Page mug was only a week away from being in my possession. I was so looking forward to this. When I received it today of course I noticed the classic Bunny Yeager shot from the waist up of Bettie attired in a black 2 piece bathing suit. After taking it out of the box though my enthusiasm hit the skids. First the box showed bettie complete from the waist up but the mug had cropped the top of her head off. I say if possible I would have lowered the shot slightly so the top of Bettie's image was complete. Now it's possible given the size they had to work with if they lowered the picture the head might have appeared out of proportion, just a guess though. Next I poured my smoking hot tea ( yeah baby!) into my new Bettie Mug. Next the backround disappeared & it looked like the color changed ( bear in mind I am slightly color blind & a light blue & green much like a light red & orange look the same to me). Of course as the temperature shot up Bettie's top started to fade but it stopped short of disappearing entirely. You could still clearly see the outline of what I would characterise as a see through bra still there. I don't know but it seems to me had Dark Horse removed both or 1 of the 2 white borders on the cup they could have run the image right & what I see is burlesque rather then nudity, for those 2 gaffs 2 stars off for a 3 star rating. I good keepsake for Bettie fans & worth the money but a little off from what I was used to from Dark Horse, though you be the judge yourself!
