Excellent resource! Everything the student edition offers and more! 30. November 2010

This is a great resource for Beginning Algebra! It is the newest edition of this book, and has some helpful updates. As the instructor's edition, it also includes all of the answers, so you can check your work and be confident that you are doing the problems correctly. The "Pass the Test" CD is a great tool and resource (if you choose to use it). In addition, the book comes with re-usable, customizable tabs in bright colors so that you can mark important pages of the textbook for quick reference and review.

This book covers the principles of pre-algebra and goes into the beginning Algebra quite well. Although when explaining the steps, in my opinion misses steps very important to the new student. The visualizations are not very clear to the visual student.

The cover is great, but the way the book is put together needs a better assemble method. Pages tends to get loose.

Overall review 2 and 1/2 starts.
