Barbara Clanton can't be praised enough for her wonderful warmhearted books for young teenagers. This one focuses on young MacKenzie and how she makes her dream as softball player come true. But it is also about bullying, friendship, having dreams, perseverance and about being different. This time the main character has dyslexia -- and as someone who had to suffer her school years through it and who knows the walk of shame (languages were such a pain) I can only say: give this book to any child who is afflicted by dyslexia or any other different learning-abilities. Another book well done and much recommended.
