Amazing!

I got this book just for browsing, but then I ended up staying on it for 2 months. It gives minor league stats, college and high school. Every player, every team . A must for every baseball fan!

I love this book. I used to purchase a brand new baseball encyclopedia every season, but alas it is no longer in print. So this is the publication I look forward to buying each spring. It features all the stats you need from the previous year's baseball season, major league, minor league, college, high school, and even Latin America and Asia, along with the fall and winter leagues. As someone who travels to several minor league ballparks each year I really love that they include statistics for every minor league team including independents.
One complaint, the post-season stats for the major league season. I feel like they could have included individual box scores for each post-season game, instead they only offer a composite for each series, until The World Series which offers more thorough coverage.
Overall, I still give it five stars because I'm happy that someone is still publishing a baseball statistical annual. It isn't the old baseball encyclopedia, but I know that's not coming back, so I hope this one sticks around for awhile.
