I am very disappointed, although I should have read the fine print on the description; don't make the same mistake. I am planning a trip to Brazil where most but not all of my time will be spent in Salvador. Thus, I wanted a book that would have more about Bahia than your average comprehensive Brazil book. Turns out this book "has been taken directly from Footprint's Brazil Handbook." It shows, too; the section on food, for example, talks about how good the food in Rio and Sao Paolo is. For a dollar or two more, you could buy the entire Footprints Brazil book - or you could look for a guide that is actually Bahia-focused, not to mention longer.
