    Kurzbeschreibung

Innocence isn’t meant for the addictive…The next sultry affair in the New York Times bestselling Sea Breeze Collection by Abbi Glines is unstoppably steamy.

Addiction is part of Krit Corbin’s nature—and women have always been his favorite obsession. But that’s the life of a lead singer in a band. He can have any woman he wants—anywhere, anytime. Well, except for one.

Blythe Denton is used to being alone. The minister’s family who raised her never accepted her as their own, and the cruel minister’s wife made sure Blythe understood just how unworthy she was of love. So when she finally gets the chance to live by herself, Blythe takes it and moves into an apartment building with a loud upstairs neighbor who keeps throwing parties all night long.

It’s during one such party when Krit opens the door to find his new neighbor standing there. Blythe wants him to turn down the music, but he convinces her to stay. She’s nothing like the women who parade in and out of his apartment, but Krit can’t resist her—her brown hair, cute glasses, and sexy innocence is too much for him to ignore.

Determined to win Blythe over, Krit Corbin may have just found his biggest addiction yet.

5.0 von 5 Sternen wieder einmal toll 1. April 2014

Was ich gerne tue ;)
    Verdiente 5 Sterne :)

...I simply couldn't put this one down.

Blythe was just so nice and I could picture her while reading: her struggles, her desire to be loved but not thinking she deserved it, wanting to protect the one she loves.

It's funny how sometimes stories are written in such a way that despite knowing what is going to happen, you still cannot help but falling in love with the magic of a story.

It is my first Abbi Glines book and it won't be my last!

1.0 von 5 Sternen I REALLY wanted to give this book five stars:( 8. April 2014

I bought this book thinking I was going to love it because I'm a total sucker for rockers type of Love story. Even though in my opinion this book was to expensive I thought," hey what the hell...I'm going to give it a chance and buy it." I was seriously disappointed, so much so I will NOT be buying anymore Abbi Glines books no matter how tempting! I'm going to give my honest opinion about how I see this story and I'm sure there will be plenty of people dis agreeing with me. This could have been such an AWESOME story. Blythe and Krits love story could have been one of the best that Abbi has written. Unfortunately this story has fallen short of what I thought it was going to be. There was very little drama or much of anything else for that matter.....it was almost like they meet, there is instant connection,Krit feels he's not good enough so he pulls away, he regrets it,blythe forgives him and bam happily ever after! I was like ,"what the hell!!!" When I first started reading about krit I thought," holy hell, he's hot!" But NOPE ...Abbi did not let us know more about him and why he was the way he was. Instead she focused on him screwing every girl with a vagina that crossed in front of him....oh and lets not forget that he had to sleep with women before he went to spend time with blythe because he didn't want to be tempted into jumping her bones. What can I say about blythe??? Well nothing really, just that it didn't matter to her that she heard krit having sex with a another woman....who by the way was screaming at the top of her lungs about how good krit was boinking her. Blythe had no back bone and even though she went through what she went through I would have liked to see her grow and come out a stronger person. I feel that Abbi should spend more time on her books and give us a truly kiss ass story like she did with Rush and Blair, instead of trying to throw out five or six books back to back. The way I see it is,that the more books she throws out....the less good they are. If I could get a refund I would. I want the old Abbi back....the one that wrote the first Rush and Blair love story!!!

5.0 von 5 Sternen BAD FOR YOU Review by Bout-A-Book Blog 1. April 2014
    Von Jacki @ Bout-A-Book Blog - Veröffentlicht auf Amazon.com
    Format:Kindle Edition
Damn. Abbi Glines has done it again!

I never thought I’d love someone the way I loved Cage York..

and then I met Preston Drake. He was my Sea Breeze hottie and I knew for a fact that Abbi couldn’t make me love anyone as much as I loved him.

And then I met Krit Corbin.

Sexy rocker with blazing blue eyes that has tattoos and piercings in all the yummy places? Ah, yes please! He is every woman’s fantasy and believe me, people, he knows it! Music and women are his addiction; his way of escaping his crappy past. It’s worked for him and his life as the lead singer of Jackdown has put him in the position to get whoever and whatever he wants any time he wants it. That is until he meets Blythe Denton. She’s been given a bad lot in life but it hasn’t stopped her from turning into the sweet, caring, and beautiful person that she is. Everyone sees how good and innocent Blythe is, especially Krit so he’s determined to stay away and not break her. But with his addictive personality can he really stay away from the one thing that not only his body wants but also his heart?

In this whirlwind novel where innocence meets corruption and opposites certainly do attract, Abbi Glines gives us an impeccably written romance of a naughty rocker and his virtuous sweetheart. It. Is. Amazing.

Going into BAD FOR YOU I sort of knew Krit’s background and where he came from, but I wanted more. Why did he go through women like nobody’s business? Was he able to really get over Jess? These are the questions that swirled through my mind all day yesterday as I patiently waited for BAD FOR YOU to download on my iPad. Krit is impulsive and loud and everything Blythe isn’t. He knows she’s too good…too innocent for him…

Even knowing this he couldn’t stay away. He needed to be near her even if it was just as a friend. But could Krit really just be friends? Especially with someone he wanted more than his next breath?

When I was first introduced to Blythe I connected with her almost immediately. Abbi’s characterization is out of this world and she creates these people in a way that you not only sympathize with them…you empathize with them. You hurt when they hurt…you laugh when they laugh. It is one of the most amazing things to experience and you get that experience every time you read an Abbi Glines novel. When Blythe meets Krit while moving into her own apartment for the first time her world is opened up to things and feelings she has never experienced before. She didn’t know how to react to Krit wanting to be her friend. She didn’t understand it but she knew she wanted it…

The chemistry between these two characters is explosive! And Krit’s dirty talk had me blushing more than Blythe! I loved it….I couldn’t get enough of them together. Krit’s possessiveness had me swooning. Like seriously….every inch of me was a big puddle of gooeyness once I finished BAD FOR YOU. Seeing a rocker who usually cared about no one, especially the long line of women he ran through get all alpha-male on a sweet, innocent like Blythe? Come on….I’m swooning now just thinking about it.

Blythe and Krit are so completely different from each other on so many levels but they’re also a lot alike. Their childhoods left their lives in shambles and the people who were suppose to love and protect them didn’t. They weren’t given a chance to feel worthy or needed and their raising left huge scars emotionally and mentally. But together they compliment each other so well. Blythe helps Krit feel needed and Krit helps Blythe understand her worth. This story isn’t just your typical romance. It’s about finding one’s self and accepting it and allowing others to accept that as well.

The overall storyline was fabulous. I was sucked in from the very beginning and I read this entire novel within 5 hours. I couldn’t put it down because it was just that good. I’m still reeling from it and I’m pretty sure I will be re-reading it very soon. With every book Abbi writes I keep thinking she can’t get any better but then she does. BAD FOR YOU is definitely one of the best books I have read in a really long time.

5.0 von 5 Sternen I think this was my favorite! 2. April 2014

I absolutely love Abbi Glines' books. Out of all the Sea Breeze books I think this was my favorite. I LOVED Krit and Blythe. Blythe's insecurities had me crying along with her in the book. She is just so sweet and totally deserving of happiness and love! Krit melted my heart. We all knew there'd be something that separated them towards the end and I am so so glad it wasn't his inability to be monogamous. I'm glad that was never an issue!! I'm just so happy after reading this. I hate it is over in a day. Well done Abbi Glines! Well done!!

5.0 von 5 Sternen Story of healing and love 2. April 2014
Von Waldine Fryer - Veröffentlicht auf Amazon.com

This was a very well written book on two people who healed each other. I enjoyed every minute of it and was so glad it ended the way it did. I so wish there could be more of Krit and Blythes story. Took me exactly two hours to read the book because I just could not put it down. Bravo to Abbi Glines you have truly outdone yourself again as you did with Rush and Blair's story.

    4.0 von 5 Sternen I have a LOVE/HATE relationship with this book... 2. April 2014
Von Cnee - Veröffentlicht auf Amazon.com
    Format:Kindle Edition|Verifizierter Kauf
I am so confused. I LOVED this story. HATED the editing!

I was surprised at how much I loved Blythe & Krit. This type of relationship is usually so cliche in books but I never felt that way with them. The friendship and slow buildup were just... Great. I loved how it developed. One of my favorite Abbi Glines books to date (and I've read almost every one of them).

I was so disappointed with the editing in this book. Which is atypical for me when it comes to an Abbi Glines book. The errors were distracting at times and took away from the story. I had to go back and re-read certain parts. It disrupted the overall flow of the story (which is why it isn't a 5 star read for me). Her earlier books (which I believe were before she was with a publisher) had far fewer errors and cost less. And don't get me wrong, I will pay any amount for an author I love and she is one of them- but I also expect for the text to be clean and tight. I can easily overlook a few errors here and there if they are insignificant, and I really don't consider myself to be bothered by it as much as others- but this time it bothered me because it took away from my experience of reading a story that I really liked. I almost wondered if an earlier unedited addition had been uploaded by accident.

I don't know everything that a publisher is responsible for but I feel like this is something that would fall under their responsibilities. I don't mention this to be spiteful or hateful; but truly to be helpful as someone who is a longtime fan. I hope this isn't a trend moving forward with her upcoming books, I love them too much to stop reading them but fear continued poor editing may overshadow her talent.
