I purchased this used book through Amazon from SentryBooks. I give SentryBooks an excellent rating on price, condition, and shipping.
I am particularly interested in BSA motorcycle manufacturing history and I thought this book would be a good addition to my library. The book covers the full period from the beginning of BSA manufacturing in early 1900 to the end in the 1970s. With 333 pages of text it can be a project to wade through all the content provided. The author appears to be very knowledgeable about his subject and obviously has done comprehensive research. It is a challenge to make the listing of accomplishments interesting and the author has reasonably achieved that end. I would say that it would help to have some familiarity with the subject to get the most out of this book. I did like that the book contains many period photos of the personalities, places and bikes involved in BSA motorcycling competition. There is also a detailed index to allow one to look up items of interest. I recommend this book for those interested in BSA history in general. I has been a welcome addition to my library.
