I just recieved my Attack of the Drow set in the mail not more than fifteen minutes ago, and I'm so mad I don't ever want to buy anything from WotC again.
The Drow Ranger, arguably the coolest figure in the set, was missing an arm. Whatever- it might be somewhere else in the box. It wasn't. And when I touched the sword on the figure, it fell off! So I don't get the coolest figure in the set, and have to shell out six more dollars if I want it. WotC isn't getting that cash.
The displacer beast has so much flash on it it would take you at least a day to file it all off with a dremel set and a set if needle-point files. All figures come with a little flash, that's to be expected. This displacer beast has something like a quarter of the total weight of the figure taken up by flash. I sure have better things to do with about five hours than scratch away flash from an ineptly-cast figure.
I don't ever plan on buying anything from WotC again in the miniatures department since they can't seem to make a figure that takes less than a day to assemble and paint. Their competitors simply make better products at cheaper prices.
