This book looks at the Moon's Nodes and interprets them in relation to our spiritual journey. There is a bit of a focus on the negative traits we must overcome, but the author gently forces us to take an honest look at ourselves. Although I am primarily a horary and event oriented astrologer, this book is one of those rare spiritually oriented texts that has something meaty to offer. My favorite book on horary, by the way, is Horary Astrology Plain and Simple by Anthony Louis.

If you want the nodes with rose colored glasses deal with your self esteem issues elsewhere, Spillers coverage of the nodes cuts to the chase. No book is going to be the end all be all, because we are evolving creatures. This book shows us how we can go with the process versus against it. Sometimes the truth hurts, deal with it.

I find this book very interesting, however it is too bad that there is not more information about mutual reception and opposing sign/house positions of the North nodes.
