Cinderella is a kind and beautiful young girl. Unfortunately, her father has remarried and his new wife is greedy with two selfish daughter. Before long, this terrible trio have taken all of Cinderella's clothes, made her sleep on the floor and forced her to work from morning to night. Meanwhile, the prince of the land has come of age and the king and queen want him to marry. But the young man does not want any old wife - he wants to marry for love. His desperate parents decide to hold a splendid ball and invite every girl in the land. Surely there must be one girl who can win his heart? On the day, Cinderella is sad and alone in the kitchen, (her stepmother has made her stay at home) but being a truly kind soul, she may just have a fun-loving fairy godmother who can help her - for one night at least...
