I am scheduled to take the PMP test next month, therefore I am not able to say how close this book is compared to the actual test. However, a co-worker recommended this to me after using the 4th edition version last year. He said this was the best study tool for the test, and used it in addition to the PMBOK and Andy Crowe's. It does make since when you consider this book is written by PMI. What I am doing is highlighting all of the correct answers and only studying those and referring to the back of the book and/or the PMBOK for a more in depth explanation for the answer. I also purchased the PMBOK, Head First, and Rita's 8th Edition. I will update after taking the test.
