Great calendar!

I figured that since it was my last year on earth to order a calendar like this I might as well!
Actually I'm very pleased with it!
Nice full size professional calendar. Easy to read dates and months with nice white space for writing your notes and events on.
Since I didn't know much about what pictures would be in it, I ordered it based on price and figured I'd get another if I didn't like it...the pictures are great! Well done...all artistically drawn, style reminds me of modern realistic video games. Many of them have cute little features hidden in them.
January: "polar switch" in California - shows cars frozen on the highway on the way to Disneyland with the Magic Kingdom in the background and a chilly road sign.
February: "Tsunami" in Dubai - one of the great architectural hotels being swamped by a giant wave an enormous cruise ship.
March: "Nuclear Meltdown" in Germany - I don't recognize the city (and actually don't care for this picture as much) but it's got smoking cracked nuclear reactors in the background and rivers of what I guess is toxic sludge pouring in between the buildings.
April: "Earthquake" New York City - same as cover
May: "Meteor Storm" in Las Vegas - totally my favorite! Old guy win a robe with a young tattooed blonde in their hotel looking out their enormous hotel window with horror as meteors take out the hotels on the strip.
June: "Maelstrom" in Netherlands - water/whirlpool taking out a windmill
July: "Volcanic Eruption" in London - beautiful picture of lava creeping up the steps from the underground subway with a double decker smoking nearby
August: "Flood" in Venice - the beautiful city with fish and sharks swimming all around. Very Atlantean
Sept: "Planets Collide" in Nibiru - crowd of people with lots of religious icons watching as a red planet in the sky draws closer and closer.
Oct: "Twisters" in Paris - horrified expression of guy in review mirror as he watches from his car as he is lifted up above the eiffle tower with other cars
Nov: "Rig Adrift" in Syndey - burning oil rig smashing into the opera house
Dec: "solar flares" - Astronaut watches from space shuttle as the earth crackles with fire
A little sad there were no plagues or zombies, but oh well...
Also there's no real "countdown per se" although Dec 21st is marked by a big red exclamation mark with question marks on the dates that follow...thought there might be some other humor on the dates (like "last st. patrick's day ever") or something, but there wasn't.
Anyway, I'm happy with it...it'll work great.

This calendar purports to be a genuine 2012 Apocalypse Calendar, but like almost all other 2012 calendars, it has ten too many days. Even though it acknowledges the end of the word on December 21st, 2012, it shows December 22nd and continues through the end of the year. Even more insulting, it include a mini calendar of January 2013. How false and misleading can you get! How wasteful. Do we have to get ripped off all the way to the end of the world? Anyway, y'all be careful buying your 2012 calendars because most of them make this same mistake.
