I have kept a journal for many years and this short book really reinforces the great benefits that can be had from keeping a journal. Stress and anxiety is something that affects us all at some point in our lives and I'm glad I came across this book and a core reason behind my journal keeping has been written about in an honest and thought provoking way.

I have heard about the benefits of journal writing for many years but had never gave it much thought. That is until lately. I have been under a lot of stress with my job, and home life. I came across this book and have been keeping a journal every night since. We all need to vent our stress and frustration and this book shows you why doing this may actually save your health in the long run. I feel lighter now like I have less stuff weighing me down. If you are at all stressed I recommend you picking up this book and start writing your worries away.

I always thought of it as a diary. Diary/Journal, same things to me. But I always thought of them as ways to document things so you could reflect on it later, never saw it as an acute way to relief stress. Got some good info from this book about how focusing on your thoughts and feelings as you journal is key. Really good information.

if you don't believe in journaling I would say you are missing out on one of the most powerful tools you have available for a stress free life. Most people seem apprehensive to write their feelings down in case someone should discover them. It is sad to think that is what we believe we have to do with our feelings, hide them. Journaling will release so much burden from you that you will be amazed at how life changes. At least it did for me. If you are looking for a new way to try and be rid of stress I would suggest this for sure.
