Anke M. Leitzgen started as a model for magazines like Italian Harper's Bazaar, Vogue Bellezza and international brands like Rimmel, Fiorucci and Issey Miyake among many others. She worked as an art director and a script writer and she was editor in chief of miss Vogue. Since nearly twenty years she is a successful writer for magazines like Zeit Magazin, Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung, Süddeutsche Zeitung Magazin, Eltern family and many others. One of her passions is to enroll people to live an exciting life. And because one can't start too early to enjoy it by the full, Anke writes for adults and children. As a mother of four she knows what girls and boys nowadays are grasping for. She wants to inspire them and to hand them over the skills and tools they need to live what they love.
Anke has been featured in German publications like Zeit, Stern and Freundin as well as many local newspapers. She has appeared on television und radio programs, including NDR Talkshow, WDR 2, Hessischer Rundfunk among many others.
