While the other stories are just so-so; ALPHAS is extraordinarily interesting and new!
Ilona Andrews is famos for their worldbuilding, and this story is no disappointment!
it captures from the beginning and the only bad thing about it is, that it ends too fast!
one wonders, how the thing between 'the beauty and the beast' will be resolved, but so far there is no second book, even though this could be a totally gripping series!
so 5 stars for Ilona andrews!
I think, Ilona Andrews' books are so special, because a man-woman- team does the writing! that way their characters are no 'Ken-and-Barbie' clichees, but seem to be real people!
