Agenda 21: An Expose of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Initiative and the Forfeiture of American Sovereignty and Liberties explores how climate control will be used by the United Nations to bolster its position as a one world government and potentially usurp national sovereignty as well as individual rights. This book has been formatted for optimal use on your Amazon Kindle Reader and the various free Kindle apps.

From the text:

There is a new age dawning in America and around the world that promises to change everything you know and the values you hold dear.

The values we hold dear, like life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness form the foundation of who we are as a people and a nation. Our traditions and laws are based on these values and were originally designed to preserve human dignity. In my opinion, human dignity is as vital to life as the air we breathe and the water we drink. Without it, life perishes. As you will discover in this book, Agenda 21 believes you are a nuisance. Your very existence represents a stumbling block to a master plan that equates human life to a colony of ants, where the rights of the individual and human dignity are defined by servitude, not freedom, and where personal ambition must be expended for the greater good.

We face a host of pollution and sustained development challenges, but in my opinion many of these issues can be met with free market solutions. We do not need the bloated bureaucracy of the United Nations dictating policy at the national and local levels. Let them focus on hosting summit meetings that promote world peace, and leave the rest of us alone. Agenda 21 is a carefully disguised attempt to hijack the worthy cause of environmentalism in the pursuit of political objectives.

As one signatory to the United Nations’ General Assembly among at least 193 others, the initiatives being put into place in the name of sustained development represent a threat to our national sovereignty. If the citizenry of the various nations that prize freedom and self-governance do not resolve to stop the United Nations in its tracks, we will all be answering to the same handful of elites whose selfish pursuit of utopia will relegate the vast majority of the world’s population to a life of servitude and limited opportunity.

4.0 von 5 Sternen Grüne Politik in ihren schlimmsten Ansätzen 13. September 2012
Von Katharina
Format:Kindle Edition|Verifizierter Kauf

Lesen Sie hierzu das Buch "Behind the Green Mask" von Rosa Koire, The Post Sustainability Institute Press and Barry N. Nathan (Sep 2, 2011).

5.0 von 5 Sternen "You Are The Dead!"--Big Brother to Winston & Julia 12. Juni 2011

This book is superb. There are actual multiplied hundreds of millions, even billions of people on this Earth who 1) believe the UN to be benign (big mistake) or 2) believe radical environmentalism is benign or 3) have absolutely no concept or awareness of the very existence of Agenda 21 or 4) marginalize anyone who IS aware and who might sound an alarm about this plot.

This book will encourage thinkers and enrage mere followers. I am not new to this topic and I found the highly targeted observations of author Ron Taylor to be at once enlightening, riveting and chilling. His frequent use of quotes by thinkers both celebrated and obscure, past and present, coupled with his dry wit make this a fascinating read.

The one "weakness," for lack of a better word, is that Mr. Taylor's writing is so comfortable that a reader may be lulled into thinking it's grist for a novel. While the topic undoubtedly COULD be such, this book most certainly is not.

Very well-written. Very well-researched.

This should be on a required reading list for bubble-headed elementary and high school bunny huggers and should be required also for all college/university stoonts who might warrant being referred to as "students" had they actually studied a topic as vital as this.

Kudos and "hoorah" to Ron Taylor!

5.0 von 5 Sternen Five Stars For Quality 12. Februar 2012
Von Mark Ledbetter - Veröffentlicht auf
Format:Kindle Edition|Verifizierter Kauf
Five stars because Agenda 21 is 1) well-written and intelligent, 2) well-researched and informative, 3) at a Kindle-appropriate price, and 4) advocates peaceful solutions.

Ron Taylor does a great job of showing how "mission creep" lets the tentacles of mega-government slither slowly and silently into all facets of our lives. His list of how the president could theoretically cite a national emergency to use Executive Orders already on the books to turn America into a dictatorship is eye-opening.

I am not one of those reviewers, however, who five-stars when I agree and one-stars when I don't. I five-star for quality, not agreement. In the case of Agenda 21, I have serious disagreements. In fact three.

The biggest is this. Agenda 21 warns America of the U.N.'s conspiracy to form a one-world government. Ok, fine. I can get behind that. But there's a problem. Mr. Taylor, distracted by the smaller threat, misses the larger one. Which is: Pax Americana, America As Globocop. We already have a de facto one-world government, but it's headquartered in D.C., not N.Y. In comparison to the worldwide web of US military bases, the U.N.'s little efforts are a puppet show which actually serve America's one-world agenda by providing a forum for unhappy countries to harmlessly vent their anger at global world domination.

Yes, I know. You can make a strong case (not that I do) for the need to have America police the world. What you canNOT do is make a constitutional case. I.e., you cannot make an American case. America can only police the world by giving up its Constitution and the American values embedded therein. America was intended to be, and once was, the light, not the sword, of freedom. Now it has picked up the sword to see the light dim year by year.

Problem two. Free trade. Conservatives like Ron Taylor are often lined up with liberals on this one. By looking only at two small frames of the total picture, both Cons and Libs make a case for partially closing our ports. For example, they point out the often horrendous conditions in the third world factories which produce our cheap stuff. Taylor gets into this. But look at the bigger picture. Since the fall of the Soviet Union and the advent of the freest trade regime in history, 500 million of the downtrodden of the world have risen out of poverty. Corporations are gearing up to serve 2 billion more they predict will rise from poverty in the next two decades. This can be nothing but good for the world and an overall job-creator for America. But limited understanding of economics, ie focusing on one frame of the larger picture, gives the impression that this is a source of American unemployment.

Problem three. Ron Taylor warns us that the U.N. and liberals in general want us to stop driving. (Ok, fair enough.) If they get their way, he warns, we'll be stuck with our third world rail system. Taylor: "Can you imagine being forced to travel by Amtrak? [it would be] a nightmare of travel delays compounded by limited access to the places you may want to go."

Again, Agenda 21 misses the larger picture, as does just about everybody. I deduce that Ron Taylor is no spring chicken, but he's not likely old enough to know the word "interurban." (Ask your grandparents. They know!) If Mr. Taylor does know the word, he'll have a clue about the wonderful possibilities that would replace Amtrak in a free transportation market.

Unknown nowadays to either Libs or Cons, Carworld was a liberal idea created through liberal solutions, ie governmental solutions. Starting in 1916, Libs, hot to free us from the clutches of evil railroad capitalism, prevailed on Washington to give us "free" infrastructure for cars. Trains, trolleys, and interurbans, which had to build their own infrastructure, couldn't compete. Govt support for the auto eventually killed the best mass transit system in history. Not the best at the time. The best ever. Better than anything that currently exists in Europe or Japan. Just about every town of more than three or four thousand people was plugged into the system. The subsequent experiment in social engineering (govt car roads) destroyed wildlands and farmlands, downtown and Main Street, even community and family, by flinging all social functions to the four winds to free up room for the smooth running of the automobile. Modern Americans, raised in endless suburbs, now need a govt license to live a normal life (ie to drive). I guarantee that with free market transportation, we would not be stuck with Amtrak. American business, when not shackled by government, can do much better than that, and actually did a century ago.

But hey, my rants are not really what you're looking for, right? If you want an intelligent, non-incendiary expose of Agenda 21, this is it. And you can't beat the price. Why not give it a shot? There's lots to like here, even for someone with my unconventional perspective.

5.0 von 5 Sternen Every American needs this information 10. November 2011

The old saying "Truth is stranger than fiction" really applies here; and in fact I would substitute the word SCARIER for "stranger" in this case.

Agenda 21 is no contrived "conspiracy theory": It is FACT, and a matter of public record at the U.N. Were it anything less, I wouldn't waste time commenting on it, much less recommending it so highly. I grew-up at a time least in my community...children were taught to think critically, objectively, and carefully weigh all of the FACTS before forming an opinion. So little of that is apparent today that it's no wonder we have the incompetent crooks in power we have. But, I digress...

Shakespeare is famous for saying, "Me thinketh they protest too overmuch"; and so have my feelings become regarding the environmentalist movement of the past 20-30 years. Raised to respect, protect, and conserve the ecology; I have seen us go from a society where sane conservation has turned to insane, and even religiously fanatical worship of the environment. So much so, our nation's economic and social structure has been done great damage. I struggled for some time to understand how so many people could suffer such mass delusion concerning the real state of the planet when it finally dawned on me: There's much more afoot here than just "environmental" concerns. Given the irreparable damage it has done to our nation's industries, and the ever-increasingly onerous laws placed upon the average Citizen; it soon became apparent that under the banner of environmentalism, Marxist-socialism was able to carry out the very thing they could never have openly done otherwise: The utter collapse of American industry and commerce.

There's a mountain of evidence out there to prove this contention, and "Agenda 21" merely confirms it. Goose-stepping Leftist won't like it; and neither will the prideful "moderates" too embarrassed to admit they've been bamboozled; but the truth will out, and embarrassed or not, they will own it.

You owe it to yourself, and your Country to read this book and get informed as to what is really being done to us in the name of "saving the planet".

This work deals with an important subject that doesn't get much coverage in the media. Unfortunately, it suffers from incoherence that could be eliminated by some judicious editing. Its brevity makes it an accessible introduction to this complex and wide ranging subject. Writing and editing problems, however, might, for some, detract from its clarity and, therefore, its credibility.

Let me first say that if you are looking for a brief explanation of "agenda 21", the author did gather it and "do his homework". (2 stars for that)
With that said, this 64 pages of information has a lot of personal opinion in it as opposed to unbiased fact.
There is nothing here you can not find on the internet for free. I borrowed this through prime, out of curiosity, and am truly glad I did not pay 2.99 for it. That is far too much for what this is.
Important information? It could very well be. But dollars to content: an expensive hour of unimpressive.
