Back cover: Lily couldn't believe her luck when she met Rauf Kasabian in the exclusive London bar where she worked and found herself the object of this charming, wealthy Turkish tycoon's affection. But when Rauf witnessed Lily leaving a hotel with another man, his fierce jealousy drove him back to Turkey, with a vow never to see her again. Two years later, Lily finds Rauf and together they discover that their passion still burns. Even though he has his suspicions about this outstandingly beautiful woman, Rauf decides that she must become his bride....

*Small Spoilers*
"There must be a lot of real losers out there because I wasn't that impressive." Those words came from our hero, Rauf. It made me love him so much more!

He was absolutely cute and adorable and hilarious. I doubt that was what he intended, but his jealousy and the way he went about it was just awesome.

Unlike most of Lynne's other heroes, Rauf is actually a gentlemen. He does a few things that had me shaking my head, but honestly, they were more cute than anything else. All I wanted to do was hug him! Rauf was a true hero.

He kept messing up, mainly because he kept assuming the worst of Lily (who I absolutely adored). But really, he was just paranoid because he was completely in love with her. It was just adorable! And every time he realized he had messed up... He actually grovelled and apologized. He didn't put the blame on her like most of Lynne's other heroes do.

I overlooked the whole misunderstanding that kept them apart for two reasons.

One, this Harlequin had A LOT of his point of view. We could get into his head and see what he was thinking. He truly felt like he had let her down. Again, that was his own fault, for just assuming the worst. I'm glad that it skipped all that. The story starts when they reunite after almost three years. But it was better this way. He suffered a lot for believing the worst of her, but she also had time to grow up.

That's the second reason I forgave the almost three years that passed. Lily was threatened by her brother-in-law when she was just fifteen. Because of that, she was simply scared of men and even covered herself to not attract physical attention. Her brother-in-law is a disgusting rat- and even I feel bad for insulting the poor rats that way. Brett (the brother-in-law) is just icky. So when Rauf start pursuing her a few years back, she was kinda scared of him in a way. She totally loved him, but she was scared of what he made her feel. I feel sorry that they were apart, but it is the only time in which I will excuse it. He suffered all that time because he was in love with her (and he deserved it, for thinking bad of her). And she had time to go get help from a therapist.

But honestly, if you get a chance, CHECK IT OUT. Give it a read, because this one is just amazing! They spend about 98 percent of the book together. Those are the kind that I love. It is really cute that in several parts throughout the book, he feels like he's not good enough for her. Really, I think it's what we all want from a guy- for him to think the world of us.

He was kinda idiotic in the beginning, but it lasts so little, you barely even notice. Haha, and even when he's being like that, he struggles a lot to keep control around her. Just as all Alpha Males, everything Lily does, Rauf thinks she does it to tempt him. It's hilarious!

I absolutely loved it!

I was surprised at the quality of a Mediterranean Marriage and really surprised by the hero's temperament. It's not one I've seen in other Graham novels, and I truly appreciated it. Rauf was quick to judge and quick to anger, but he was also quick to recognize when he was wrong and apologize (not including their initial three year separation thanks to his misjudgment, of course!). Lily was naive at the beginning of the story, but there was strong character development for both the hero and heroine and a very satisfying HEA -- I also loved being in Turkey for a change. I highly recommend this Presents!

So the Turkish hero and British heroine fell in love when he was in England and she was very young. There is a misunderstanding and he leaves without saying anything thinking she had betrayed him. Years later her sisters deadbeat husband has messed up the family finances and come to find out the hero had loaned them money and now he wants it back and to close this chapter in his life. He heroine travels to Turkey where they both discover that they have never really gotten over each other (she is still a virgin). A traditional blackmail of the sweet but poor heroine, but the hero is genuinely a nice guy. There is some misunderstandings along the way but the heroine has a backbone and you get a glimpse into traditional Turkish family life (his grandparents and extended family plan out a traditional wedding). All in all, I would read it again!

I have read several books by Lynne Graham and I have ejoyed most of them. This book was just ok. I have read it several times and still come away with the feeling that the only real reason he, Rauf married her, Lily, was because he found out she was a virgin. And that the love was not really there but the mores of his people stepped in. And he felt honor bound. Yea I know how it ends but it still felt like he forced himself to love her. Don't get me wrong I will still read this book again. Love Lynne Graham's work, mostly.
